On 10th October 2026, we had world hospice and palliative care day hosted by St. Joseph's hospital Yerla.

This was to bring awareness on palliative care and to strengthen collaboration and networking with families communities and people of good will.

Good attendance of previous patients,their families, well wishers and benefactors brought encouragement to the palliative team of the hospital.

Sharing of experience by our past patients and their families was touching.

It brought awareness on the theme 'CARE YOU CAN TRUST ' to one and all present.

Sr. Kusum spear headed the gathering and made the arrangements of the hall and delicious snacks.

In her speech she thanked everyone for being part of this noble mission of compassionate care.
